Yeshiva University Delegation visiting the UM6P Faculty of Medical Sciences

On the 10th of January, a delegation of 31 students of medicine and pharmacy, and eight faculty and staff members of the Yeshiva University in New York visited UM6P. This visit is part of Yeshiva University’s Global Citizenship 2023 Morocco Program. Each year, the group travels to a different location around the globe to learn about the local Jewish community and its history, hear from community leaders, volunteer both inside and outside the community, and gain a better understanding of the country.

The visit was beneficial mainly to our FMS students on many levels. The students had the opportunity to exchange with their visitors on the universal values that unite human beings as part of an inevitably global and connected world. They were the main spokespeople of their culture as they found themselves confronted with various questions from visitors curious about questions related to customs, traditions, religion, and other similar questions.
