The African Studies Center is dedicated to teaching and research, based at the Benguerir Campus. This center is dedicated to studies on the African continent. It is oriented towards three main actions :

 

• Promote studies done on the continent.
• To document studies produced elsewhere that are relevant to Africa.
• To educate on studies that allow the world to be seen from Africa.

 

Two research areas will be particularly developed:

1. The field of health and environment.
2. The interdisciplinary field of history, anthropology and philosophy.

 

The Center will organise several types of activities: teaching, study days, conferences, discussions entitled "The gardens of Benguerir", etc.
